This 'SOLO' piece is a substantial hollow sphere ring container designed to evoke a sense of individual empowerment. As the sphere is cradled in the hand, it symbolizes the idea that when one is alone, they possess complete control over their own life and destiny. This representation underscores the profound autonomy and self-reliance that can be found in solitary moments.

Each relationship is symbolized using only two basic geometric forms: the sphere and the cube, effectively encapsulating the essence of individuals involved (for instance: 'I am the sphere, you are the cube'). Through these minimalist shapes, the design conveys my nuanced interpretation of these four close-knit connections.

ROMANTIC 爱情 This piece serves as a poignant expression of my understanding of romantic relationships. In such unions, two individuals are perceived as a harmonious whole. The design exemplifies this concept as the cube envelops and cradles the sphere, symbolizing the profound care and nurturing inherent in romantic bonds. FAMILY

This piece encapsulates the essence of my family, comprising three members, including myself and my parents. Each of us is represented by a distinct surface treatment, reflecting our individual personalities. When combined, these three unique surfaces form a cohesive sphere, a symbol of unity in Chinese culture.
The container's design features three separate storage spaces, each dedicated to one family member. Inside, a cleverly concealed hinge allows the sphere to open and reveal its inner compartments, showcasing the idea that despite our distinct personalities, we come together as a single, harmonious unit.

Although we share commonalities that bind us together as friends, it's important to recognize that outside of these shared interests, we each maintain our independence.
