"This piece predominantly consists of wood and metal components. The walnut section was crafted using a lathe-turning technique, while paper joints were employed during the lamination of the two parts. The metal portion primarily underwent smithing techniques, with the sphere being a hollow form created using a dapping set and then soldered together. The pearl is tension-set without the use of any adhesive. Notably, all the components were meticulously handcrafted by the artist."
